The Axelrod Group joined forces with the Plexus Institute, a leader in the development of processes to spread innovation. Plexus’ work in hospitals has reduced the spread of staph infections by over 40%.
How did they do this? By working with employees to uncover the “micro practices” that lead to success and developing ways to spread that information throughout the organization in a culturally appropriate manner.
This deceptively simple process works on this straightforward notion: people are always curious about what works. What they don’t need is another training program about what they should be doing.
